Zunch Communications, Inc. Names Jesse Romero Chief Financial Officer

Dallas, TX (PRWEB) Jan. 4, 2006 – John Sanchez, Chairman & CEO of Zunch Communications, Inc., is pleased to announce the promotion of Zunch Controller Jesse S. Romero to the role of Chief Financial Officer.

Romero joined the Zunch team as Controller in July of 2005 after working in various accounting capacities with Belo Corp., Temerlin McLain, Excel Telecom. He was most recently with American Service Systems Corp. where he was the Manager of Accounting and Finance. His initial responsibilities with Zunch have included overseeing the day-to-day accounting and operational activities. As CFO, Romero will oversee the expansion of Zunch into Shanghai and official overseas operations. He will also have increased interaction with investors and those interested in becoming one.

“Jesse has done a wonderful job taking control of all of Zunch’s accounting and financial responsibilities,” said Zunch Chairman & CEO John Sanchez. “He’s proven his ability to handle the job and this promotion reflects the trust we all have in him to take on the role of CFO.”

Originally from Amarillo, Texas, Romero graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. Upon graduation Romero moved to Dallas where he attended the University of Texas at Dallas where he received his MBA. He is a member of the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy and the Texas Society of CPA’s. He is married and has one son.
