Zunch Launches Chinese Version of Website

Leading Interactive Services Company Makes Move Into Booming Chinese Market

Dallas, TX - As Chinese businesses strive to gain more prominent positions online, many in that booming market are turning to established Western companies to assist them. In anticipation of the opening opportunities, Zunch Communications, Inc. officially launched the Chinese version of its website today at www.zunch.cn.

Terrence Ou, APAC Business Director and Search Engine Optimization Specialist for Zunch, developed the website. He says a Chinese language website is a must for any business hoping to gain access to the Chinese market.

"While the population of China as a whole, and the technical community in particular, are very well-versed in English, it is always better if you can speak to a prospect in their native tongue," said Ou, author of the first book on search engine optimization in Chinese.

The website, which was developed over a period of a few months, also contains Zunch's proprietary Chinese Content Management System, refined for the Chinese market by Ou and Joe Mocerino.

Zunch officials will be in China this autumn to exhibit and speak at AD:TECH Shanghai, the first interactive marketing conference ever held in China. The conference will be held November 15 - 17, 2005.

"The Chinese website is a major milestone for us," said John Sanchez, Chairman & CEO of Zunch, "This places us in a very unique position to market our services, products and interactive marketing skills to the many companies the Chinese government has selected for global expansion. We're ready to market for international and Chinese firms wanting to do business in China as well as Chinese firms wanting to do business outside of China."

Sanchez advises that any business seeking a powerful presence in China should at the very least have a website in Chinese. Zunch offers translation and website development services, assuring respect for Chinese culture and avoiding any possible embarrassments that often arise in translation and website development. Zunch can also assist in Chinese interactive marketing, search engine optimization and pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns on Google, Yahoo and Chinese search engines such as Baidu.Com.

The Chinese version of the Zunch website also prepares the way for Zunch's physical move into China. The company plans to open a Shanghai office in early 2006. Ou will be instrumental in staffing the forthcoming Zunch Shanghai.

"Just as you'd want to speak in Chinese when doing business in China, it is also very helpful if you can establish a permanent presence there," said Ou, "While we do live in a wired world and much can be accomplished online, via email and telephone, nothing takes the place of face-to-face interaction and one-on-one collaboration. Not only that, but the time difference alone makes it very difficult to coordinate business between our two countries day to day."

Sanchez plans to recruit from among degreed professionals in the Shanghai area, allowing Ou to develop their skills in Search Engine Optimization and website development.

Said Sanchez, "Terrence will be able to train our new staff on Chinese search engine marketing. Issues such as what Chinese search engines should be used or the overall strategies one should take to tap into the Chinese or International markets. Terrence is extremely skillful in conducting Chinese keyword searches, submitting to Chinese search engines and directories and solving the problems between different versions of Chinese language characters. We trust he will impart his knowledge and skills to our new Zunch Shanghai staff."
