Zunch adds full-time Media Director to Staff

Dallas, TX (PRWEB) August 25, 2004 -- Zunch Communications, Inc. of Dallas has called upon the services of a veteran media professional to assist the company with their growing interactive media department. Delia Cyra has joined Zunch as Media Director.

“A lot of interactive agencies and marketing shops call themselves full-service,” said John Sanchez, President and CEO of Zunch, “And in a sense, they are, after they call in the part-timers, the contractors and the freelancers. Delia will be overseeing all of our clients’ media budgets, which will of course include recommendation and research into the strategic placement of advertising dollars. It will be a relief from a management standpoint to have all of these duties consolidated under one person’s direction.”

Cyra brings with her nearly 25 years of media planning experience. As the Manager of Media Services for imc², Delia managed a team of three media executives who handled interactive planning and buying for a total of 40 clients. Her responsibilities also included developing media plans and Internet strategies for Fortune 1000 clients such as Consumer Packaged Goods, Cadbury Schweppes, Dr. Pepper, 7-UP, Hawaiian Punch, Campbell’s Soup, Pepperidge Farm and Procter & Gamble.

“We’ve needed to bring a Media Director on board for some time,” said Sanchez, “And we feel like we’ve found the perfect fit in Delia. Her experience coupled with her knowledge of the industry is second to none. We expect to rely on her heavily for long-term strategic media planning, and of course her negotiations skills will certainly come into play as she tries to get the most bang for our clients’ dollar.”
